TO STANFORD MEMORIAL CHURCH

From the Best Inn & Suites, head toward Broadway on Riverside and turn Right on Broadway.

Left on Ocean and follow until it becomes Hwy 17.

Follow Hwy 17 for 22 miles.

85 North toward Mountain View.

280 North toward San Francisco.

Exit Page Mill Road going East.

Go up and over a hill to a major intersection with a traffic signal.

Left on Junipero Serra.

Right at 2nd traffic signal onto Campus Drive East.

Follow through six stop signs to Palm Drive (lined with palm trees).

Left on Palm Drive.

Behold Memorial Church!

Parking is available around the Oval (the end of Palm Drive) and on Roth Way and Museum Way (further out on Palm Drive). On the weekend permits are not in effect, thus you can park in any spot that doesn't have a blue, red, or yellow curb.

Take the Palo Alto University Avenue exit west toward Stanford.

As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive.

Memorial Church is located straight ahead, in the middle of the Main Quad.

Take the Page Mill Road exit east toward Stanford.

Left onto Junipero Serra Blvd.

Right onto Campus Drive East.

Stay on Campus Drive East as it meanders past Bowdoin, Serra, and Galvez.

Left onto Palm Drive.

Take the Alpine Road exit east toward Stanford.

Right at the first traffic light onto Junipero Serra.

Left at first traffic signal onto Campus Drive West.

Follow as it curves past Santa Teresa, Searsville, Panama & Via Ortega.

Right on Roth Way at the stop sign, just past the new Bio-X Center and the Stanford School of Medicine

Right on Palm Drive.

TO THE COCOANUT GROVE

Start out on Palm Drive heading away from the Church.

Right at the first stopsign onto Campus Drive.

Left at the fifth stop sign onto Bowdoin St.

Right at the end onto Stanford Ave.

Left at the end onto Junipero Serra.

Right at the first light onto Page Mill Rd.

Take I280 South towards San Jose for ~8 Miles.

Take 85 South towards Gilroy for ~8 Miles.

Take Hwy 17 South towards Santa Cruz for ~22 Miles.

Hwy 17 is a beautiful and twisty highway. While some drivers may wish to experience the available thrills, stress is significantly reduced for driver and passenger alike by sticking mostly to the right lane and taking time to enjoy the scenery.

At the end of Hwy 17 do not get on Rt 1 but instead continue straight to Ocean Street / Beaches.

Right on Broadway, the light after Soquel Avenue.

Keep going straight over the bridge.

Left on Front at the end of the bridge.

Stay straight onto Pacific Avenue.

At stop sign take a hard left to stay on Pacific Avenue (don't go up hill onto West Cliff).

Left on Beach St just after the train tracks.
